BACK TO BONSAI

The  JUNIPER in the centre is a RAFT  for those who do not know what a raft is, it is a bonsai that has had all the branches taken off one side  of the trunk and laid flat on that side, the branches left on the other side are wired to make small trees, the whole is then placed in a tray still with the root on and the trunk and root are then covered with compost, after a couple of years the root can then be cut off as the trunk will have rooted where the original branches where taken off.
